It is a little-known fact that throughout 2015 approximately £1 million worth of plant and agricultural vehicles were stolen every single week in the UK.

Plant security

There’s no doubt that plant vehicles and machinery are more susceptible to theft than most other types of vehicle.

Plant tracking

Having placed tracking devices in more than 23,000 units in the UK, we have experience in working with vehicles of all kinds, preventing a great many vehicle thefts.

In fact, 95 per cent of untracked plant thefts are never recovered. That said however, most tracked vehicles are actually recovered within 24 hours of being taken.

Agricultural tracking

According to a report released in 2016, only nine per cent of agricultural vehicles are recovered after being stolen – amounting to 6,000 stolen vehicles between 2008 and 2014.

This means that between those years over £30 million of equipment has been stolen at the rate of four units a day.

Our immobilisation units mean that if a dumper or roller was to disappear, it can be instantly immobilised and located within minutes.

Another feature of our tracking systems is that they can help business owners monitor the health of vehicles.

Using a range of analytics, businesses are able to monitor features such as engine temperatures and fuel economies so that they are able to maintain the health of their fleets and equipment before small issues become large problems.
